Tour Nr. 03 Wetterstein/Zugspitze (highest peak in Germany)
Description: (2 day tour)
Through the Höllental Valley via various rock climbs to the summit of the Zugspitze
2962 m.
Descent through the idyllic Reintal Valley. Sleeping in hammocks in the open. We cook over an open fire.
Summit: Zugspitze 2962 m
Seasons: June - October
Capabilities: Very good level of fitness. Sure footedness and having a good head for heights. The difficult sections are secured by harness and iron cables.
Day 1: 8 - 9 hours for an elevation ascent of 2200 m ▲ and a descent of 1600 m. ▼
Day 2: 3 - 4 hours for an elevation decent of 670 m. ▼ (A longer variation over the Schützensteig path is possible by team agreement)
Participants: Min. 1 max. 3
Services: Tour guide, half board, transfer from Garmisch to Hammersbach.
Price: 250 Euros per person
Extras: Harnesses, helmets and hammocks supplied free of charge.
For an additional 20 Euros we can offer a pick-up and ride service depending on the tour and your pick-up point. We can naturally meet your additional requirements or special requests, by organizing individual tours with full consultancy throughout the year (e.g. full-moon tours, snow-shoe tours etc.).
