I chosse the tours in that way that in parts we hike off the beaten tracks. Because of security and also because it is a more intensive experience for the participants, we hike in small groups of maximum 4 persons. After a short instruction it will be no problem to find a good positon to sleep in the hammock. And don´t worry in case it might rain or snow durring our trips. We do have tarps to protect ourselves. Together we will prepare breakfast and dinner at the campfire. For this I will provide the food and at the meeting point we distribute that evenly in our packs. After registering every participant gets a specific equipment list of what to bring on the tour. Registration will be binding only after full payments have been received. Hammocks and the necessary lashing equipment will be handed out at the meeting point. For this you should count another 1,5 kilogram. The rental is free of charge. In case more articels are needed by the participant, they might be lent out from me for a small fee. If desired individual tours can be arranged as e.g. snowshoe tours/ski tours at full moon etc. As I am out of my office most of the time, you can reach me best through my email/telephone or fax machine.

Having been on several journeys with Peter Gruss over the years, I know he can take you to many places you would otherwise not have known about, and you can pick a great deal of local and outdoor lore. And he's good company. Particularly memorable is the experience of sleeping under the stars in hammocks suspended above alpine snow.
